Hello Valley Karting Racers!
As you have no doubt read, the Lombardy Karting Association (LKA) and the Circuit Quyon Karting Club (LCQKC) have joined forces to provide kart racers in eastern Ontario with a competitive club-level racing series – the Valley Karting Championship! For 2018, LKA and LCQKC have agreed to an eight-race series that will see races split evenly between the two dedicated karting venues. The competitors from both organizations will be challenging for one overall series crown. The categories will be Novice, Junior, Senior, and Masters Briggs and Stratton, as well as LKA’s Spec class.
Note that you must be a member of an ASN Canada club to race at either location. Club membership details are available at both club websites. Registration for each race will be done for the specific race venue in the manner traditionally followed at each track: LKA registration is done on-site at the track during race weekends, while LCQ has both on-site and online registration.
The first three races of the year are in the books, with five more remaining in the 2018 series. Over 40 racers have competed in the series this year, with more new racers coming out race after race. Race #4 of the series will be held at Le Circuit Quyon, situated at 1245 Proven Road, Quyon, QC. Registration is available online right here, as well as at the track early Sunday morning.
Race day fees are as follows:

The races will be sanctioned by ASN Canada, the governing body for motorsport in Canada, and will align with applicable ASN technical and sporting regulations, which can be found here. Race #4 Supplemental Regulations will be posted in the near future. The spec fuel is Stinson SUPREME unleaded from Dépanneur Marcotte/Stinson in Quyon (1189 Rue de Clarendon – end of Ferry Road). Track configuration is the Max counter-clockwise fish-hook layout.
The drivers meeting will be held at approximately 8:45am Sunday morning, with racing starting shortly thereafter. Don’t be late, or you’ll be starting from the back of the grid!
