Are you ready for the first race of the 2019 Ottawa Gatineau Karting Championship? The kick-off to this year’s season is scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at Le Circuit Quyon.
For 2019, the Circuit Quyon Karting Club (LCQKC) will be participating in the Ottawa Gatineau Karting Championship – a five-race series hosted at Le Circuit Quyon, a locally owned and operated kart venue in Canada’s Capital Region. The core racing categories are Novice, Junior, Senior, and Masters Briggs and Stratton, with races being held as per the following schedule:
You must be a member of an ASN Canada club to race in the series. Details on a membership with the LCQKC are available here. Registration is available online as well as at the track on Saturday, May 4 and early morning Sunday, May 5.
Race day fees are as follows:

- Family Discount applies to first four(4) drivers per family, additional drivers at $35/$25 each.
The fee for Saturday lapping/practice for Briggs & Stratton racers is $30/driver for LCQKC members, and $50/driver for non-members, and is payable at the track.
The races are sanctioned by ASN Canada, the governing body for motorsport in Canada, and will align with applicable ASN technical and sporting regulations, which can be found here. The specific Race #1 Supplemental Regulations will be made available prior to race weekend. The spec fuel is Stinson SUPER unleaded from the Stinson fuel stop on Highway 148 in Luskville. Track configuration is the clockwise “Inter” layout, which incorporates challenging sections of both the original and new track.
The drivers meeting will be held at approximately 8:45am Sunday morning. Don’t be late, or you’ll be starting from the back of the grid!
Note that this is also Race #1 of the Rental Kart Challenge! Rental kart racers are encouraged to be at the track by 11:15am to sign waivers and participate in the drivers meeting. More information on the Rental Kart Challenge, as well as online registration, is available here.
