OGKC Races 3 & 4 at LCQ – June 29th and 30th 2013

The 3rd annual Canada Day Double Header weekend is fast approaching, with race #3 of the Ottawa-Gatineau Karting Championship on Saturday June 29th and OGKC Race #4 taking place on Sunday June 30th. This year there will also be “Capital Cup” winners for each class based on overall performance on both days. Once again these events will be co-presented by Le Circuit Quyon Karting Club and the National Capital Kart Club (NCKC). The track will be open for controlled test and tune laps Friday June 28th and our class sponsors for this event are:

Race #2 at LCQ – May 25th and 26th 2013

The racing season at Le Circuit Quyon is well under way, and the 2nd event in the 2013 Ottawa-Gatineau Karting Championship, co-presented by Le Circuit Quyon Karting Club and the National Capital Kart Club (NCKC), will be held over the May 25-26 weekend. Race #1 at LCQ – May 4th and 5th 2013

Le Circuit Quyon Karting Club is proud to announce its inaugural year of kart racing at Le Circuit Quyon. Our first series is being held in conjunction with the National Capital Kart Club (NCKC) and on May 4th we will be hosting a joint rookie school, swap meet and a variety of information sessions for racers and pit crews of all experience levels.  The track will be open for controlled test and tune laps all day.

Ottawa Boat & Sportsmen’s Show

Le Circuit Quyon Kart Club will be at the upcoming 2013 Ottawa Boat & Sportsmen’s Show, booth #129. The show runs from Thursday February 21st through Sunday February 24th.

If you didn’t make it to our recent Open House, or even if you did, stop by our booth for a look at the new Margay and CRG race karts, check out our 2013 racing schedule, or just do some bench racing to get warmed up for the coming season. We’ll have club members and track staff on hand to answer your questions about the sport and LCQKC’s plans for 2013. Make a note on your calendar and set aside some time to talk karting and get back “into the groove” with us at the show!

2013 Pre-Season Open House

Le Circuit Quyon Karting will be hosting a pre-season open house at 2350 Stevenage Rd unit 18 on Saturday February 16 from 10am to 3pm.  All are welcome, vetran karters and newcomers alike. Come out and see the exciting new 2013 Margay and CRG karts, get what you need to prepare for the season, pick up some tech tips, do some bench racing or just sample the refreshments we’ll have on hand.  Make a note on your calendar and plan to stop by!
