2021 LCQ Invitational Enduro and Rental Challenge!

The grande finale of LCQ’s racing season, the 2021 Invitational Kart Enduro, will be held on Saturday, September 25th. The end-of-season enduro has traditionally been a popular and well-attended event throughout the years, and is an excellent opportunity for experienced kart racers to introduce new and prospective drivers to the world of motorsports through kart racing! Teams can be composed of one to three racers; however, teams of more than one driver must have at least one inexperienced racer (i.e. is not a regular kart racer, and has never owned a racing kart) that does at least 30 laps of the race. Three (3) pit stops are mandatory.

The Quyon 125, a 125 km race with a 125 minute time limit, will be held Saturday afternoon at approximately 1pm, and is proposed to be a Briggs & Stratton Senior/Masters combined category race. If you have an old Honda-powered kart, come race that too! Should there be interest from other categories, a 30-minute and 60-minute race will be held for Novices and Juniors respectively.

The track will be available in the morning for practice, and the track configuration will be the “long clockwise” configuration.

All racers (members and non-members) are invited to participate, and must complete an Event Registration Form at the track, a Medical Self-Declaration Form (if a non-member), and have the following protective equipment:

  • Full-face helmet that meets technical specifications
  • Rib protection
  • Gloves, race suit (or similar) and closed-toe shoes or boots

For the technical specifications, please review the 2021 Regulations.

Sporting Regulations / Technical Regulations

A Pre-Race Technical Inspection Form must be submitted for each kart to be used in the event.

Minimum average weight is 350 lbs for kart plus driver for the Briggs & Stratton Senior/Masters combined category race. For other engine categories, please see the following chart:

Entry Fees: $100 per kart/team with $10 transponder rental

Spec Fuel: Open

Spec Tires: Open

A rental enduro is also planned, which will start at approximately noon. The rental enduro will include a 5-minute practice followed by a 25-minute race, all for $75. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance for event registration!

All profit generated from the enduro will be donated to the Heart and Stroke foundation, in memory of our friend and track regular Rick Hynes.

Registration will be available at the track on Saturday morning, prior to the big event. For additional information, please contact Paul at 613-223-2541.
